This week, my seventh week ends in isolation, because I decided to stay at home a week or two earlier when the lockdown was announced. I work as a full-time blogger and content creator and run an Etsy online store, so it’s pretty easy for me to stay indoors.
It was difficult, and having the freedom to see my family and friends taken away was difficult to get used to, but something so essential to follow now. However, I would be lying if I said that the “domestic life” would have been terrible. I enjoyed a bit of living in loungewear, not driving everywhere and spending more time cooking and relaxing.
I was barely active, so I’m going to come out of Lockdown with a few extra pounds, but I’m pretty satisfied with that! I enjoyed trying new plonks and new foods, cooking, playing more guitar and making the most of being at home.
I thought I would share on the Blog some of my favorite relaxing looks that I liked to wear at home today. I’ve shared them a lot on Instagram, but I thought I’d add a few of my favorites in this loungewear edition here too. All three Looks are from Femme Luxe Finery – an online retailer that I share a lot of here and on my @byemmacampbell page.
The first set that I liked to wear in my home office during these busy working days is the cream turtleneck and sweatpants combination from the Loungewear collection. I love a good turtleneck, and this set is a little more fitted than the looser models for those who want to take a little break from the oversized style!
The second job in the house that I love and that I literally can’t take off right now are these coral joggers that I find in the Jogger section on Femme Luxe Finery. These come as a bit of an oversized style since I chose size 8 and they are casual and a bit big-plenty of space to lounge and lounge around! They are also available in a variety of colors, from light pink and gray to green and lemon.
Now I thought I would pick my favorite for last, because this white loungewear set is a little different from the usual Hoodie and Jogger combination that most people wear at home. I love a good roomy Hoodie and Jogger set, but this one is for you if you want to sip outside while staying in your loungewear!
It is currently the Cream-colored tulle mesh loungewear set-Harlee. I love the way it is made of transparent mesh, floating sleeves and a tie at the waist to give shape. The bottoms are arched, but not too sticky. In fact, I decided that I would wear this today on this rather sunny Thursday before the holidays.
I’m a little worried about my entire wardrobe merging into a collection of basic products for loungewear and, once the blockage is lifted, I don’t know what to do with myself anymore! I’m going to feel so strange putting on a dress! That being said, it’s my birthday on May 29th, so ideally, I plan to adopt the sartorial posture and put on a naughty little dress, even if I still have to stay at home.
